Welcome to the official UA-cam page of the Concertgebouworkest.
The special power of the Concertgebouworkest lies in the people who make each and every concert a special event. The orchestra members, conductors and soloists are responsible for the 'visible' component of the performance experience. Their individual talent and commitment contribute to the astonishing magic of the concert.
Also essential to the creation of that magic, though, is the audience. Your attendance and involvement provide the musicians with fertile ground in which the artistic fruit of their efforts can flourish.

Great conductor, great orchestra and Greater Beethoven❤❤❤
Hermoso 💚 💚 ¡¡¡
Should be a barn burner…
It's amazing how this orchestra basically always sounds amazing!
Another great performance of one of my favorite pieces of music by my favorite composer.
Great performance of a symphony by my favorite composer. It's one of my favorite pieces of music.
My favorite was the french horn it sounded so grand
UN LUJO .... UN LUJO !!!
Para un amante a la música 🎵🎼💐🤤...La mejor orquesta....🎵🎼💐🫶🫂🤤🫶💪
Bach's work is perfection and expresses eternal beauty alongside faith in God, poetry which is a deep prayer full of calmness and intention. As a Jew whose faith is different from Christianity, the concert is a universal class for all religions and reflects the uniqueness of all religions in determining cultural values, equality towards God and towards every person regardless of their faith.
I deep coming back to this performance. It truly captures the genius of Bernard Herrmann's music. Every time I hear the love theme, I cannot help but think how stunningly beautiful Kim Novak was in this Hitchcock classic.
Se me pone carne de gallina cuando oigo la 7
Superb comments. Be concerned with the sound, not with how you “look”.
This may be literally the best piece of music ever written…As a violinist, I have played it 2 or 3 times, and it is an amazing experience.
Qué manera de captar la esencia y el espíritu de Tchaikovsky; es un verdadero ágape espiritual escuchar esta espléndida versión del inigualable Maestro Bychkov. ¡Gracias, Maestro!.
Hard to believe this was video tapped almost 10 years ago. So much has changed since then; however, the beauty of Beethoven's 7th still continues.

Contrabass trombone players - please join in to discuss! This is the famous glissando that sometimes requires the renting of a special, quite odd trombone.
Definition of 'entitled' 😂😂
Великолепно потрясающе Спасибо 👏♥️👏
"Are you a 1 step or 2 step man?" Lol i am 2 but i would go 1 because I don't want to embarrass myself there 😂😭

Ivan was awesome
Can I have a video of Chung's Symphonic gems? i miss it so much
I have heard of many versions of Beethoven symphony no.7. This is my most favorite version. This version made a simple, stable, and clean harmony. But it is very indescribablely touching to me. I don't understand why... it just moved my mind
Thank you
Beethoven - un talento straordinario!
Eccome! gira voce fosse brawino
What a rendition, I enjoy every second of it but fell in love with the delicacy of the lady at the harp in the beginning.
I only wish Alfred Newman could see this
My new favourite performance of from the new world...
Alyosha is the best !!!
Fantastic
This is the most Strauss thing I've ever heard and it's by the wrong Strauss
I admire JW a lot, and I have no problem with hints and ironic usages of other music. Put your hand up Dr Mahler, and you Takashi Yoshimatsu. But this is pretty close to naked plagiarism of large chunks of Hanson's 2nd Symphony. So what! However, I'm surprised Hanson's publishers didn't write one or two letters. Love andrea
The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and maestro Stéphane Denève are it! Stunning playing, in terms of sheer technique, but more importantly of collective and empathic grasp of the aesthetic-psychodynamic-moral content of John Williams' music-art. Very apt selection of exerts from the score. (1) Leia's supreme womanly energy of love and protectiveness, and romantic-eroticised yearning to bring forth, in fact to give birth to, a new more female world of freedom and life-creativity. The diametrical opposite of the crushing, satanic, absolute diabolical life-negativity of the Empire. Quite a few hints of Rimsky's Scheherazade here (4:34) ! Anyone with awake ears can also hear "sonorous echoes" indeed of the Maurice Jarre's stupendous score for Lawrence of Arabia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maurice_Jarre#Film_scoring ua-cam.com/video/ro7ustlPLuc/v-deo.htmlsi=LnvHJct9REr1WicU&t=39 The opening flute solo melody is also evocative of much of the orchestration and indeed extraordinary sensuous-erotic engulfing sentiments "rapturous-ness" of the 2nd movement of Hanson's famous and delicious Romantic symphony, the No 2: ua-cam.com/video/abKXHeG0u6I/v-deo.html (2) The Straussian and Korngold-esque majesty and scale of the opening scrolling-credits "announcement" of this galactic drama, from far away and long ago; or indeed, of every age. It is also frequently and justly remarked how much Williams is borrowing from Korngold's opening pages of Kings Row. (3) The very Walton-esque, explosive rejoicing and righteous "energies of success" (see Belshazzar's Feast) over the crushing hyper-masculinity and bestiality of a planet destroying death star (a terrifying super-Auschwitz, sewer-bred conception of be-shadowing and incinerating death, as Freud and Jung might have said, in a moment of rare agreement); and the frustration of Darth Vader's dreams of eternal fascist control. Of an Imperial peace meaning a desert of grovelling servitude, and perhaps more lurid modes of existence. In recent historical terms, which Lucas and Williams clearly had in mind, these are variously the quintessence of Hitlerian psychotic power, of Gestapo institutions of terror, of vengeance weapons, and unfathomable depths of destroying technologies and torture. The world or Dr Mengele and Hiroshima. A revolting orgy of psychotic, gloating and narcissistic power! Really very frightening indeed, unless one is already a celebrant of death, a vasal of the Dark Side. At one level, George and John's expression and dramatization is of a medieval tale of quests and romance and knightly gallantry and heroic sacrifice and triumphant goodness. But more deeply it is of a Buddhistic, Jungian and psychodynamical fable, a transcendental moral narrative. A conflict between light and death, between womanly creativity and love and playfulness versus psychotic patriarchal hyper-masculinity. Between kindness and adult bravery and love and protective altruism, and the cruel snarls of hell-demons. This is very profound, and very spiritually engaging, and hopefully cathartic and enlightening. The pursuit of absolute power, so often a ridiculous and demented fantasy of infantile male imaginations, is indeed absolutely destructive - of ones supposed enemies (more often mere ghosts and unwitting projections from one own psychotic sub-consciousness), of oneself, of the warmth of the sun, of the altruistic caress of kindness, of pure other-regarding love, and of ego-dismantling, ecstatic, revelatory, mutual adoration, and transfiguring union with the feminine divine. Destruction of all of life and perhaps of all reality, in the final absolute metaphysical and diabolical act of chaos and perversity. The terminal patriarchal act, and the definitive narcissistic extinction of the totality of being, on the basis that ones raging psychotic masculine "Will" must triumph over everything, or everything must die. "The Triumph of the Will", now where have we heard that before - send for sinister Leni Riefenstahl. Love andrea
Una magica esecuzione.!!!
Mediocre
these sessions are really fabulous , thank you !
Absolutely glorious!
Thank you for sharing this wonderfull performance !
